Cabin in the Woods
Recently our gracious hosts, Courtney and Jacob, extended an invitation to stay at their cabin in the woods. So on a quiet Monday morning, I packed the car and headed toward the mountains with mom and Opal in tow. (Yes, that’s right. This airbnb is dog friendly!) As luck would have it, we arrived just as the first snow of the season began to fall, blanketing the world around us in a soft sheet of white.
Inside, is dripping with charm. From exposed beams to wood-paneled walls, everything about the space says, “Come on in and stay awhile.” The open floor plan encourages gathering. While the television comes in second to the cards, puzzles, and books. It seems our hosts have thought of every detail! Not to mention the fully stocked kitchen for nights when a home cooked meal is preferred. And there’s freshly ground coffee for early mornings spent on the sprawling deck.
With 3 bedrooms and 1 bath, the cozy cabin comfortably fits 6 guests. So bring that extra cousin or long lost friend! They can sleep in one of the bunk beds. 😉 A washer and dryer, electric fireplace, and wireless internet are just a few added benefits that make Maison Living Co hard to say goodbye to. Think they’d be open to me moving in?

Located just minutes away from downtown North Conway, the airbnb is central to a surplus of activities. From skiing at Attitash Mountain to tubing on Saco River, you’ll never run out of places to explore! My favorite haunts? Grab yourself a cup of chowder next to the fireplace at the Black Cap Grille. And don’t forget to stop by the pet bakery at For Your Paws Only to get your four-legged friend a special treat!
